The YSS-875EXGP has been developed over several decades of painstaking research and trials involving some of the world’s greatest saxophonists. It has a reassuringly solid feel yet a quick and nimble playing action, a wide dynamic range, stunning projection, and an authoritative tone with a beautifully designed tonal core.

The YSS-875EXHGGP features two necks in straight and curving styles to suit players’ preferences.

The brass body is left unlacquered and plated with beautiful bright gold plating. The lack of lacquer does mean occasional cleaning is required in order to maintain the finish. However, the added layer of resonant precious metal gives more projection and a wonderful extra dimension to the sound.

These Custom saxes ooze quality – design, build, ergonomics, tuning, playability – just pick it up to know you have your hands on one of the World’s great soprano saxes. Intonation-wise very few sopranos can compete, which is a crucial differential given the notoriously uneven tuning of many soprano horns out there.
