‘Having tried the Alto and Tenor Jet pieces before, I was expecting the Jet Baritone Mouthpiece to really deliver, and I wasn’t disappointed! The Jet range as a whole delivers an incredible amount of punch and cut to a sound without sacrificing body. The Baritone version very much follows this template, offering a big phat sound that just hit hard! This results in an incredibly fruity Low end that is just so fun to punch out. It is very much suited to the contemporary funk/session style Baritone, or anybody looking to cut through and horn section or big band. That said, when you pull back a bit, it doesn’t thin out like a lot of high baffled mouthpieces do, making it much more versatile than it first seems.
