The new Forestone Hinoku reeds have a lot of heart in the profile which translates into a good dosage of warmth – they articulate very cleanly and have the feel of a bamboo reed in many respects – this is probably largely because the reeds are composite of bamboo and synthetic material. The finished result is one that is robust and durable and feels sturdy when being played.
