Reviews
“Having just completed a video review of this instrument, this soprano stands out in my head as really fulfilling Yanagisawa’s aim of trying to produce a new range that has more focus and core in the tonality. You could argue that the ergonomic changes are neither here nor there, but my feeling is certainly that the newly designed bore (and I have heard re sourcing of brass material) has had a clinical effect on the tonal production; to my mind, we now have something closer to the classic Mark VI soprano sound. Of course, we also have the usual joy of effortless tone production and spot-on intonation at the same time. Great job Yanagisawa!”– Jim Cheek – SAX
