LIGATURE SIZING

Please be aware, the Otto Link New York metal mouthpiece is ever so slightly different in size compared to standard Otto Link metal mouthpieces. Different enough for Rovner to deem it necessary to make a size specifically to fit them! So if you are interested in buying an alternative ligature to the one supplied with this mouthpiece, we recommend the Rovner Dark in a “3ML-NY” size.

“Similar to the standard Link but with a slightly larger chamber. This makes the piece a darker and, potentially, mellower blow. There’s a nice ‘boom’ to the bottom notes, if pushed, too. As with the standard Link a ligature upgrade is recommended.” [email protected]
