AÂ fusion of two of the most popular Vintage Mouthpieces
The aim with this mouthpiece was to take the best aspects of Vintage Otto Link and Berg Larsen pieces to create something much more flexible than the individual parts. The result is a mouthpiece that can be both warm and rounded as well as loud and punchy.
The mouthpiece features an extended roll over baffle with a rounded transition into the chamber, almost reminiscent of the ‘bullet’ style that Berg Larsens utilized. It easy easy to see where the power comes from but it is nicely balanced and doesn’t cause the mouthpiece to be overly shouty.Â

STAFF REVIEW
‘As a big fan of Mark Sepunick’s work, I had high hopes for the first 10MFAN Bari mouthpiece and it certainly delivered. I have always found that Baritone pieces can be a little mono-toned, either providing a big punchy sound or being much more mellow and rarely striking a good balance. This mouthpieces delivers that flexibility in spades. I can play effortlessly in a laid back style, producing a full and warm sound, but when I give it the beans, this mouthpiece really goes. The reassuring thing is that the mouthpiece plays easily, but offers up a nice amount of resistance to work with, allowing me to easily adjust the amount of air I am sending through and thus the amount of extra power and edge. This is really allows for a wide tonal palette in one handy mouthpiece, offering everything from Gerry Mulligan to Ronnie Cuber, even through to the Funky Doctor himself!’ – [email protected]
